How Does It Work?

GENESIS AIR utilizes a three layer filtering system

Genesis Air air sterilization
  1. The first layer cleans the air using a big particle filter.
  2. Second layer sterilizes the air though a UV-C chamber.
  3. Third layer filters the air though a HEPA filter. Providing a complete and safe air sterilization.

What about UV-C?

Ultraviolet light is a form of light, invisible to the human eye, that exists on the lectromagnetic
spectrum between X-rays and visible light.

UV light mutates and or breaks down DNA at a wavelength of 2,537 Angstroms. UV wil break the 11 molecular bonds within micro-organismal DNA, producing thymine dimers in their DNA, thereby destroying them, rendering them harmless or prohibiting growth and reproduction. When the DNA is damaged, the organism cannot reproduce or cause infections.

What is UV Light?

Ultraviolet (UV) light is a form of light, invisible to the human eye, that exists on the electromagnetic spectrum between X-rays and visible light. UV is generally divided into three sub-bands: UVA (315–400 nm), UVB (280–315 nm) and UVC (180–280 nm). UV Photons utilize short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light.

How does it work?

UV light mutates and or breaks down DNA at a wavelength of 253.7nm. UV will break the molecular bonds within micro-organismal DNA, producing thymine dimers in their DNA, thereby destroying them, rendering them harmless or prohibiting growth and reproduction. When the DNA is damaged, the organism cannot reproduce or cause infections.
